Foghorn Brewery Can King Street Pale

Joining Foghorn’s outstanding range of canned beers is the King Street Pale Ale, a quality craft session ale named after Foghorn’s Brewery on King Street, in the heart of Newcastle. King Street Pale Ale has been road-tested over a long period of time in the brewhouse and enjoyed by customers so much so, it has become one of the breweries most popular beers on tap.

The inspiration for the beer stems from Foghorn Brewery Founder Shaun Sherlock’s constant search for sessionability and drinkability without compromising flavour or originality, “we wanted something really approachable that wouldn’t build up too much on the palate if you were having a couple, but that still didn’t just taste like every other pale ale on the market. It is distinctively different” says Shawn.

“We’ve got a big in your face IPA and Stout in the cans and a really nice hop driven pale ale in the Newy – there was room for something different and the King Street Pale fits that bill nicely.”

The cans will be available locally in Newcastle and in the yet to be released, ‘A Good Beer Always Helps’ cases which will be sold exclusively through Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores nationwide.

The King Street Pale is Foghorns go to session beer of choice. The pale is comfortable in its own skin, full of flavour, with just enough hop and crisp balancing malt. Not too heavy, not too light. Quietly confident. Peak drinkability. ABV is 4.7%.
